WANTED: For attempting to keep Hip Hop Alive!For years Hip Hop has been getting confused with rap. Some would say they are synonymous with one another and in some ways they are. In the midst of all this confusion Mista Woosaa aka Young Ru, has arrived. Mista Woosaa has been recently compared to OUTKAST by way of originality, and his style of music, “a breath of fresh air”, as it was put. With songs like, “Good Timez” which has a music video and featured artist, and it can be viewed on www.myspace.com/youngru.
“Good Timez” deals with the obvious and the hit song, “The Newz”, deals with the political and not focused on booty, ass or bling-bling. Don’t count him out yet, he dabs a little on the club side with hit songs, like “Bad Intentions” and “Bring ‘em to the Flow”. Mista Woosaa has been featured in an article in the Kalamazoo Gazette, and song “Good Timez” has been on 1560 AM “The Touch”, and received an overwhelming response. His mission is to,

As a skilled and accomplished Screenwriter and writer for UBTrippin.com comedy e-zine, he can adapt to his environment and make any situation into a humorous story. He has a story telling ability that can be mesmerizing while at the same time you’re busting a gut in uncontrollable laughter. The Screenwriter in him makes him visual but the kid and quick whit in him makes for a good time at any comedy club. With those skills in addition to making all of his beats and rhyming this makes this multitalented artist stand out. He is able to add all of these elements to make for an awesome stage show and debut album entitled, “The Green Mile”.
